THE LITTLE DONKEY AND THE STAR

The little donkey has a hard life. His master does not feed him, beats him and makes him work from dawn till dark. No one on earth loves the little donkey, which is why he dreams of becoming a star and wander endlessly along the star road and shine bright in the sky.

And one day a star comes down from the sky and tells him that God loves him and needs his love and help, so he should go to Bethlehem.

And the little donkey, led by the star’s promise that God will fulfil his greatest wish, departed. Nothing could stop him – neither his friend Piggy’s rejection to follow, nor his fear of the Master and not even the fearsome lion, the animal King.

The little donkey has no idea what God looks like, so he is looking for him in every person on the road to finally discover that God was there in his own cart. He also found out that by helping the mother and child who were hiding in the abandoned barn to escape King Herod’s soldiers he actually saved God.

Finally, his wish to become a star will come true.

But was that what little donkey still wanted, or he would abandon his dream?
